I'm not opposed to going light, whenever possible. And often enough, I find it can and will generate more action.

The only negative thought I have about this is I think you can fight a fish to exhaustion and building up too much lactic acid. Even when they swim away (assuming its released), they might not make it later on.

Note - this is not a criticism of you by any means. Its just my general comments.
