I get the most action on 2 lb test fluorocarbon line with 1/32 oz jigs. I occasionally hook a big fish that I land but most of my ultralight jigging catch are small fish. I usually go carp fishing and if the carp aren't biting, I do some jigging. Biggest fish that I ever landed on 2 lb test was a 20 lb common carp in the Delaware River. I also landed a 19 lb snapper in Robert G. Martin Lake on 2 lb test. If you want maximum fresh water fishing action, 2 lb test fluorocarbon is the way to go. You will catch more fish than everybody else on most of your trips.
