Keep in mind that braid around submerged wood is not a great choice as it will cut into the soft wet wood and ruin your day. I prefer flouro around wood unless throwing frogs and top water.

I always run a fluoro leader with braid as well, uni-knot on the fluoro & Berkley braid knot on the braid.
