It was pretty damn cold this Sunday. Sat around waiting for it to warm up and finally went out around 1pm for one of my favorite activities; Bike and Fish.
Throw the collapsible rod in the camelback and go. Fished for 3 hours and not a single bite. My hands were freezing and I was getting ready to pack it up. Nobody wanted the white plastics with Sunday. Said F it, let me change it up. Been using the double roadrunner setup very successfully recently. Said lets try pink and perch color. 5 cast or so later, BOOM. This big girl hit pink.
Scooped her up, snapped a photo and called it a day. I was freezing and my hands had had enough. Cant wait for the warm spring days to arrive.
Although I hear snow next weekend.
