Default Re: lure strategy

Just in general? Depends on water quality- if I can see anything to match the hatch or if I get a feeling- generally I go short on big water movers or fast retrieves( cranks big jigs with craws rapalas to an extent)
If I don't get any love I go soft plastics or other slow baits.
Also varies if I'm in the kayak- boat or shore
Boat I have at least two rods ready to go- so I just throw and put down- yak I have a senko so if something seems like a good spot I'll drop a worm after buzzing it with whatever- shore is above
