shot out after work for a little bit. loaded up the tin can and started trolling and jigging. it was pretty windy with some nasty gusts, but fishable. didn't rain on me which was nice
. right away had some good marks and hooked a double header on a tandem jigging fly rig. unfortunately one broke off but the other one made it to the net.
a beautiful solid fish that fell for the mini raunchy rainbow fly. the silver surfer fly was the one that broke off
I thought i was in for a few hours of fun...but that would be it. 5-6 passes over the same area and all around the nearby likely areas...nothing. nothing marked, no bites. poof like magic, gone! one nice fish for an after work quicky, i'll take it!
