A pond with public access that has a good population of bass in NJ is just a temporary situation. Eventually it will be "discovered" and most of those bass will go home in a bucket. We have all seen it before.

I have seen this happen with this pond. In the past I would be able to catch many nice bass, pickerel and yellow perch in one outing. Now it's tough to catch any bass over 15 inch. I have not caught perch in years and I'm pretty sure they all left in a bucket because the trash and foot traffic has increased. But atleast I know there's still some nice fish left.
