I promised my kids
Waiting to sail on the Atlantic Star this morning I told my 12 year old and 8 year old (girls) if they caught their first keeper fluke I would post a picture on the web (and get ice cream on way home). My 8 year old kept her part of the deal so here it is. A real nice keeper the length of her torso. She caught all by herself (I held the rod up so my rod didnt end up in the drink once I saw it was a nicer fish). Very proud of her! Three shorts last trip, a keeper this trip for her
She is hooked!
Cpt and mates run a top notch opperation on the Atlantic Star. A pleasure sailing with them.
Kudos to the young girl fishing for the first time ever next to us with her sister catching her first keeper too (first one of the day on the boat). Never went fishing before but picked it up quickly.
