Default Almost more whales than fluke

Long haul of fishing 6 am to 8 pm on the water. Then 2 hour drive home gotta love it. Played with small blues on poppers to start across from great kills. Fished reach channel for two keeper fluke then headed out front for strippers. That is where we spotted whale chilled out in about 40 feet of water, but no stripes. Fisher the channel by Coney island lots of fluke but all short. Ended the day chasing small blues out in front of breezy. Any info on location of stripes. Every time we chunked only dogfight. Some where huge 3.5 to 4 footers. Tight lines to all!
