Decided to jump out early today for a few hours since dad-duties are mandatory for me both Saturday and Sunday next weekend.
Wasn't sure driving over with the full moon out what the bite would be like but wacky-rigged finesse worms were the ticket. First fish on just as the sun came up was a new PB for me on the big lake. Not too long after that I got what looked/felt like a better one that threw the hook just as I went to lift it out of the water.
Pretty good day out, caught 5 LMB and probably half a dozen rockbass on top getting my first sleigh-rides in the new yak.
