Friday & Saturday seabass
Friday we had out a few people and headed to our normal grounds. Fishing was a little on the slow side. Bounced around on a bunch of stops only catching a few keepers at each stop. Not as much short action either that we had earlier in the week. Managed a 3 man limit with a flounder and a few ling, enough for everyone to go home with a nice bag.
Saturday we had out Harvey and his crew. After the slow day yesterday we decided to head offshore where we had fish before the season opened. Read tons of life but only a couple keepers. Made our way back in had a few more fish then made another big move. Had some life and a few keepers and then hit one more spot we haven't tried all week and hit the honey hole. Had great action for about 30minites before it slowed and we headed in. Definitely the slowest day of the week but still everyone went home with fish and a couple ling. The south wind we've had the last few days definitely cooled the ocean down quite a bit, and it seems just enough to shut the bite down some.
Still have a couple spots tomorrow and plan on hitting some new spots and hopefully warmer water. And we still have some spots open for Monday as well
