Hit the puddle before the weekend chaos with Chrisper and JDTuna last night.Reports have been indicating the bite has been later so we got on the water for 9:30.
Pulled up to the first spot and we each caught a walleye on our 2nd or 3rd cast. I shortly followed up with a 24"er. So much for the late bite.
4 fish in 15 minutes. I asked if we should call it a night right then..
Spent most of the next 4.5 hours driving around and picking weeds off the lures. During that time JD caught a very angry 23" hybrid, his new
PB.
Caught 3 more between 2-3:30am. Had all intentions of fishing until morning but radar indicated a t-storm headed our way that never materialized. Stupid LH weather vortex strikes again.
The boat finished the night with 7 eyes to 24", 1 brid and Chris's fresh water grouper. Another win in my book!
