The struggle is real. Many of us are walleye vampires. Use at least 20 lb braid and good leader material. Mind your duo lock clips. By catch can straighten it out.

When you say good leader material can you be more specific. Steel leader? Mono? Test wt?
Right now my biggest pole has 14lb test on it. Is that going to be that big of an issue?
