Default Re: largemouths in the rain

Where I fished the other day, weeds have appeared of a kind I've never seen before with leaves sort of a like a vine. The previous two years fishing here, these weeds never grew. So fishing will be a little more complicated this year, because bass have more cover well out from shore. It used to be mostly sticks pitching, with some algae mats, nothing major. Waiting to see if they treat the pond. Here it might help the fishing. Chemical treatment destroyed Lake Musconetcong, and though water chestnuts would have destroyed the lake anyway, too bad dozens of hired hands couldn't have pulled them. Create jobs. I researched online for hours about water chestnut treatments, and by what I gathered, even chemical treatment only keeps the chestnuts marginal.
