Re: Weather man strikes again
Capt. You hit the nail on the head!! I get NOAA's deal "error on the side of caution", but too many times trips get cancelled and no one gets out when the seas were very fishable. I especially feel for you guys in the charter world many who rely on it as a living or supplemental income. What do you do? take your charter and possibly get beatup or just cancel the trip and then find out you could have gone because the forecast was dead wrong. I spoke to a site sponsor Capt. just yesterday and could hear the despair in his voice, "What can I do" he said. At the end of the day we are all at the mercy of the unpredictable weather, I guess we'll just have sit back tie some more rigs and wait for a "good" forecast. Best of Luck,See you soon! P.S. Check the forecast I'm fishing tomorrow come hell or high water!
