FISH STIX - 4/13 Raritan Bay Stripes
Wednesday 4/13 - went and netted bunkers and instead of trolling at the bottom of the tide went right to work with livies on the drift. Had a few pick ups and a few blow ups up top. Nothing really came tight other then a turned hook on one.
Gave up and started with the plugs and mojos during slack. Reads were decent but just couldn't get em to eat. Finally nailed a nice one and that was it. Made a move and the reads were insane. From then on it was a SLOW pick of shorts and keepers. Lost as many as we landed. At the end of the day we started getting the most action and even doubled up on the mojo with keepers. Tough day, not sure why.
We did manage our boat limit of unders to 36". We'll see what Tomorrow brings-- 1 spot left!
