Spring is Upon Us and So Are The Fish!!
Nice to see some reports coming in on Stripers, Blackfish and Cod. Looks like we are in thick of an early spring run so if you want to catch any of the aforementioned species, the next few weeks would be a good time to plan jump on your favorite charter or party boat.
Stripers are being caught on metal and plastic jigs as well as surface poppers when you can find birds working and on Stretches and Mojo trolling and clams and bunker chunks anchored up.
Cod are being taken on the deep water wrecks on clam and jigs.
Seems like the spring Blackfish season is off to a great start as well... They are being taken on Crabs and soft baits like Clam and Shrimp. Bigger fish are on the crabs.
Time to dust of the poles and get out there folks!!
