[Capt Ray Mad Gaffer]

So we started off our bass season the way we wanted - catching fish!! It started out slow we poked around and jogged some fish but not what we were looking for. We decided to setup clamming and that was the ticket. The fish would come in spurts but it was handy fishing. Mostly shorts (lots of measuring, the majority of the shorts just missed) and we had keepers mixed in. All in all we had between 30-40 fish. We are ducking out tomorrow with the windy forecast but will be doing a special trip Sunday leaving at noon til 6 pm we caught the majority of our fish on the outgoing tide so we are trying to capitalize on this.
