Every single body of water in Union County has carp in it...some with bigger fish...some with more fish. Most waters in UC aren't very big either. If you take a stroll around the pond before you start fishing, you can spot fish or see signs of them rooting, like little mud clouds or bubbles coming up. Fish that are rooting are feeding. Throw some corn in as chum and put a few kernels on a hook for bait. That's keeping it very simple, but if you put the time in you'll catch fish and learn more along the way.
Now as for the ponds with the bigger fish...you're gonna have to figure that one out by putting the time in.
