Default Re: Summer "waders" for fishing

I have a pair of Chota wading boots that fits a bit snugger than my Korker Chromes, and I use those for wet wading. I got a pair of the Simms wet wading sox following a recommendation from a few others and like them a lot. They're kind of like wool, but must have some synthetic materials in them as well because they don't get all stretched out and loose after being wet for a long time. There are also neoprene sox that will work for this too. Just put enough layers under your Korkers that they aren't super loose and go with those. I've never had any issues with gravel or anything getting into my boots. Some sand when surf fishing, yes, but even that wasn't really much, and like what another poster said, I didn't know about it until I took the boots off.
