3-23 Sacalait slaughter
had a rough day at work so decided to get some fin therapy. got to pond by 5:50 & had fish on first 3 casts with butterworm tipped jig. after them the sunfish were on the bait before I could cast so I tried tubes nothing,then gulp minnow nothing, trout magnet nothing..........Then at about 6:30 it went off! fish on anything I threw they were even hitting the float on the surface. I was speeding tubes on the surface & getting incredible topwater hits from the crappie. landed 19 by 7:20 then it died as the sun went down.Missed or lost at least 15 more. was truly incredible action I never saw crappie hitting on the surface but there was massive hatches going on.
