With the fat lady waiting impatiently to sing her song, I put some time in on 6 different bodies of water this week before the ice is all gone. I've spent the passed month picking up good numbers, but this week was all about QUALITY. Overall ended up with 3 Pike over 35", all Ice PB's for me. Bass and Pickerel were pretty active and the jig bite was very hot with Crappie, Perch and Gills coming up through the holes.
Best part of my week was spending Valentine's Day on the ice with my lady (her idea, her lake, her spots). Very slow day, much less cold and windy than Saturday was, but she managed to outfish me again with a Pickerel on a jigging rod. I will gladly take the skunking though, as she made things better with a nice home-cooked dinner
