Multi species ice jigging
So the school where I work closed Tuesday again but for some reason the automated system didn't call me...talk about being pissed off! So I got some Taco Bell breakfast and was on the ice by noon!
Did a zigzag of exploration with 4 tip ups and jigging. Found nothing but pickerel first hour or two decent size, but after covering some ground found some good jigging holes and nabbed a nice little 14.5" smallie that really ripped me up on the ultra light ice jig. Continued on to nab up some saucer bluegills and pumpkinseeds but the perch were all bait sized. As night came, so did a nice 12"+ crappie.
