Just got back from a few days in the Finger Lakes. First time up there and the area is just awesome. Connected with a Bass Fishing guide for a day on Honeoye Lake and it was a banner day to say the least. We ended up with 42 LMB all on whacky rigged zoom trick worms around weed edges in 5 to 10 feet of water. Most were in the 1 to 2 lb range but a few were nice ones. All topped off by a fat 5lber...and this time I caught the most and biggest and not the wife! HA!
Oh and we hit 11 different wineries, three breweries, and one distillery on the day and a half that we didn't fish. It's a great area to visit if you haven't already.
Thanks to the guys who gave me some great intel...it all was right on point.
Here are a few pics...the first is what most of the bass looked like then a nice 3 1/2 lb bass that the wife caught and the fat girl that I got. Just a great day all around.
