Need some clouds and rain. Fishing on these sunny, cloudless days is tough. I think the last mostly rainy day was July 4th. Basically 6 straight nice weekends
A few from today. Hit a small pocono pond. Two bass and 6 pickerel in about 90 minutes before the heat got to me. Strange pond: no sunfish at all - not even baby ones. But baby bass and pickerel all over. Schools of shiners present so I guess that's the forage.
