The bottom still hasn't really warmed up yet like it should and the fish are there you just need the right conditions. I also believe Sandy screwed up alot and it will take a few years to come back.

Funny also as the regs changed so did the fishing ,up north there sizes went down and there fishing went up , here our sizes are going up and the catching is going down ???? Coincidence I think not - it will eventually balance itself out once the regs stay @ 18 for a couple of years. We were spoiled with really good fishing for a while and we all knew this would happen with the size increase

Wait till the end of the season and it will get better
