Your close to the Delaware but that maybe a little more work than it's worth with 3 kids. There seems to be a fair number of parks, state or otherwise in the area, try there. Pemberton has a lake or 2, they maybe weeded in though. Try using corn or dough for Carp, they are everywhere.
Buy your bait at a tackle store / bait shop and ask them where to go with 3 boys who just want to catch anything.
Unfortunately this time of the year you need to either get up real early or try in the evening.
Catching in the heat of the day from shore (I'm Ass-uming that's how your fishing) can be tough. Early Fall is the time to get out.
