Capt. Paul ran an Open Boat Fluke trip today. On board we had Dwight, Carl, Mark, Tony, Mark & Bob. Paul decided to try the waters south of our Inlet today. The ocean was dead calm in the morning with little to no drift but the guy's put 5 nice Fluke in the box while releasing over a dozen shorts. By Noon the wind was coming on and our drift was to fast. The crew hung in and finished the day with 9 Fluke. It was not great fishing but again it was an improvement over what we have had the last few trips. There are plenty of Fluke around we just need the conditions to start putting some great catches together. Check the Open Boat Forum for our next scheduled Open Boat Fluke trips during August.
