Well, it sucked. Basically a total bust. This morning we had do-able conditions out in the deeper water and the sticky bottom but we could not get the fish to bite. Very fast but workable drift with heavy lead.
A few nice sea bass some shorts and a keeper. Halfway through the morning the wind freshened up out of the south and running against the current it got nasty quick. We made a bunch of drops closer in shore working our way north until it just got too bad and we headed back for our bay to finish the day.
Telling it like it is, folks. The catching was terrible despite Capt. Kevin's best efforts to get a bite going. That's fishing for ya.
Back at it tomorrow with our normal half day schedule.
