Rockaway River Survey and Cleanup 7/25/15
Me and two other friends that are in TU surveyed the stretch of the Rockaway River that flows through Waterwork Park in Dover last Saturday morning. We pulled out a couple tires, restored flow to Jackson Brook through the Rt. 46 bridge, and filled 3 contractor grade bags with trash. We are planning on doing a larger scale cleanup before mid September.
For those who are interested in water temps. Jackson Brook was 66 degrees and the Rockaway itself was 69 degrees.
