I can honestly say, today we hit every possible place imaginable looking for a good bite...Mussels, Mud bottom, Sand bottom, Snags, edge of the channels, shoals, Ambrose and the knoll. Had short action in some places, a couple of keepers here and there but nothing that would keep us in one place. Had several customers back out who where with us yesterday, to only catch crap!
Tough day too say the least, certainly not from lack of effort.
One of the finer moments of my career happened this morning as I was coming to the boat. Tom the "Vet" Kaprosch presented me with a Beautiful Challenge Coin! These coins are normally presented by unit commanders in recognition of Special achievement by a member of a unit....Made me proud to think that this man who served for 28 years and calls me Brother would honor me with such a beautiful gift! I will carry it proudly and always hold my head up high knowing I am part of an elite group.....Thank you Tom for the Honor, I will cherish it forever!!!
