If it's just the guide and the actual graphite isn't broken, replacing the tip guide is cheap or you can even do it yourself. I'm assuming the tip actually broke off, in which case I would't just have it fixed because it will change the action of the rod. As was suggested, when you buy a good rod, which you did, they come with good warranties. St. Croix has the best. It may cost you a few bucks, but will be a lot cheaper than buying a new rod.
