Default First Fluke Limit Of The Season

After fishing out of Manasquan Inlet on Friday w/ poor results, decided to fish Raritan on Sunday. Was on the water by 6:30 and had a keeper in the boat within minutes. Wind against the tide and sometime moving us against the tide. Plan #2, start casting and making my own drift, keeper 2 & 3.
Later in the afternoon tide changed and we were moving with the tide, keepers 4 & 5. Most keepers on the teaser/bucktail combo and plenty of shorts on the deadstick killie combo.
Jerry had a tough time getting through the shorts and managed 1 keeper. Cleaned the boat, headed down the GSP, stopped at Point Lobster for some shrimp and clams for the BBQ.
Great day on the water but had to work hard. Back at it tomorrow with Parker Pete.

Water temp was 72.
