On the third we had a great crew aboard for an 8 hour trip chasing Fluke in the coastal waters on New Jersey. The 53' Jersey Nutz made its way out of the slip around 6am and was fishing by 7 on the local reef. Within a few minutes rods were bent and the action had started for the day which proved to produce many fish, just not enough that were legal. Fish were chewing on gulp with a strip of squid and finally we had a 22" fish come over the rail about halfway through the day. We picked at 15" fluke and small seabass for the rest of the day while we enjoyed the Jersey Coast on a beautiful 4th of July weekend. The group on board was great and we cant wait to have them out again soon!
