Hit the points, look for structure that holds bait fish.

Work the edges of the weed lines.

Get a topo map of where you are fishing. Small changes in bottom this time of year are key.

Look for cover near deep water access & play the odds of where the predators will be when the dinner bells rings.

Time to break out all those cool top water lures just sitting in tackle back collecting dust. Spilt jitter bugs & the usual suspects...we all have them.

If that fails go with drop shots & senkos, slow it down & have a beer & listen to a ball game.
