Been meaning to hit up some not so local spots lately and figured a nice overcast fathers day weekend would be a good time. Scooped up Pops and headed to Wal-Mart to get a non resident license.....
Good god.....
After that, we finally made it out to some brand new water. Hiked it out a little and started fishin. FIRST cast I had a nice fish on... And then off......
Ended up being a good day for me, not so much for dad, lol. I ended up with 5 landed and 3 lost to his 0.
Unfortunately, heard about some nice browns but, all bows. Not complaining though, they were all nice and thick! Got there kinda late and rushed it so I can't complain, or wait to go back and pick it apart thoroughly........
