So I'm going to try and post every Monday about the past week. The long 1/2 day schedule and taking care of a baby with both parents working full time makes my after work time very limited. With Monday off I can sip some coffee and post up without distraction.

As usual, when the conditions cooperated we caught. When they didn't we struggled some.
Bait seems like the ticket now but Sue nailed the pool yesterday AM on a bucktail.
Anglers with the skill and dedication can often cover more area with a bucktail and sometimes that hard work pays off. Sometimes the bait draggers do better. Some days the 8 year old kid with the rental rod gets lucky. You never know.

Definitley more short action than last weekend. The water in the bay is warming up nicely but I hear the ocean is still chilly due to the several days of South wind. We did catch pretty good there before the blow. As things settle the bite should return giving us yet another option.
One of the great things about fishing in our area is that no matter where the wind is coming from you almost always have an option.

Hopefully the crap weather we have now blows through quickly and we get a nice stretch of fair weather and good conditions. See you on the dock!
