FISH STIX - Weekend SUCKY Bassin
Wow what a year so far. Terrible. Friday 5/29 we had the wounded warriors (k)ing of the consultants striped bass tournament. We saw absolutely nothing local so we decided to make a run south for one big fish. THE WORST IDEA EVER. Dead Zone. Congrats to my pal Capt Rich K for taking the crown. Unfortunately cancelled our pm trip.
Saturday 5/30 the same sh*t. Caught one bass. Lost one at the boat. Missed another and that was it. Cancelled pm trip once again. Cancelled am and pm Sunday and Monday. We need something to happen here. Totally disgusted with this fishing and weather this season. We have a ton of bass trips left, but all the seabass and fluke gear will be aboard!!!
It's been a tough season. Can't catch fish that aren't here. We hope for better things to come. See you soon.
