5/30 - Mushin - Tough Bassing Today
5/30 - Mushin had Mike T and his group out today for stripers. Had thick fog at the inlet and all the way up north, making it tough to look for bait on top. Read some bait on the ride up, but never really saw what we wanted. Set up on the troll up on the usual pieces up north, had water temps get up to closer to 58, and finally hooked and landed a striped one around 25-28# on a white spoon. A couple other boats also picked right around there and then, so we were hopeful it was going to turn on - never did. Lots of running around to different areas - same result - nothing. Mike and the guys had a great attitude about the day - and wel'll see them for canyon fishing next.
