Default Obsessions first fluke trip of the season

On board was Joey da fish (we had to take him, it's his boat), Chris (ICOFOS) and myself. I was elected to post the report due to the fact that Chris can't remember his password and Joey just wants to forget the whole day.

Met Joey at Atlantic bait and tackle to load up on fluke supplies. Wind was howling so we decided to start in the river. That spot sucked. While waiting for the wind to drop out we tried another spot in the river and Chris got lucky And snagged, I mean caught the first keeper of the season for the boat. Wind started to drop out so we moved to open water. That spot sucked. Our next move went south quick. Joey decided he wanted to change fishing spots on the boat, turned around tripped on the cooler and dropped his favorite unreplacable rod over board. It was drop the rod or loose his teeth on the gunnel. I thought he made the right choice. We tried several other spots (sucked, sucked and sucked) and ended the day with a total of two keeper, both caught by Chris and four shorts split between Joey and Chris. I jigged all day and caught one sea robin

Very bad day but we did manage a lot of laughs, despite joeys loss. I tried to point to the bright side when I told Joey that at least it's one less rod we have to wash at the end of the day ( yes I am a dick. If any one catches a custom garone on the knoll please return to me so I can sell back to Joey.

All kidding aside I am glad Joey did hurt himself worse then he did. It could have been bad. I did feel reel bad for my buddy today. Chris and I both thank you for giving it your all (literally).
