Stocking and fishing day
Eight of us, volunteers, helped stock the Musky today from Penwell Mills dam to the last stretch in Hunterdon County. Lots of fish put in on a beautiful day to be outdoors. After stocking, which ended up in western Hunterdon Co., I went fishing in the Pohatcong Creek. Hit one small hole and never left the spot for an hour. I caught ten trout on butterworms in the first fifteen minutes keeping my limit for some friends to eat. I released another dozen the next forty minutes. Trout were VERY aggressive today.
