Thanks men . So I caught a 3pound lmb in the same stretch of river this time last year. I revisited yesterday and was rewarded with that beauty. Seemed like a 4-5 pound fish as soon as I lifted her from the water. Pissed I didn't have a scale. Yes Rob I've been hitting the most northern parts of that fine river. I have not caught any of this size in the other stretch we both frequent but I know they are in there. As you and others have told me. Here is another pic ,excuse the shake and bake.
