Looks like a typical snail to me. Tons of them and fresh water clams in the D&R Canal. When the tow path breached out in SBB and the Canal ran way low the muddy banks were littered with them. Probably a good thing as I know some species filter tons of water through their bodies all day long. As long as they aren't those zebra mussels we are ok I suppose.
