Yes, and corkers don't hurt to have on.
Yes to all of those suggestions, just make sure you're not using bait or scented stuff in designated TCAs (trout conservation areas).
Parking? Where you legally can... Lots of private stuff on the musky.
No idea about lubbers or byrams.
