The first picture is a popular spot on the upper SB. As you can see, the river is in good condition and catching trout should be more consistent with the lower flow. The next set of pictures is on the other side of the mountain from Long Valley in Hackettstown. You can see that the river is higher than the SB but in great shape for opening day. I have to assume the Pequest is running about the same level as the Musky. The Musky gets stocked on Thursday as does the SB. You make up your mind about which stream will give you the most satisfaction for both catching and navigating the bottom. Good luck to all and tight lines!
