Ocean Explorer Thursday
3-19-15 Pretty nice day out there today for the most part,,,a little lumpy in the morning but a nice ride out....Dogfish seemed to slow the bite down for us ,,have not seen many this winter due to the cold water but some did move into the area today,,,they seem to come and go at spots we stopped at....We caught some codfish but not good,,,some keepers,,,Herbi had two nice keepers and a ling including his Jumbo he nailed in the morning..Fish was caught on a clam with a gulp chartruese swimming minnow..Some others keepers here and there but guys did get the skunk or some shorts....Still a nice day despite the dogs,,,,We did catch Cods on jigs but seemed most were small....The dogs were even hitting the jigs so they definately hampered our catch..Check out some pics below and nice fish Herbi!!!!Tomorrow we are not gonna fish,,got snow and rain and nasty stuff coming so stay home..Saturday looks like the next nice day to go,,including Sunday!!!
