Noticed that I was about to roll over my post count so I took a minute to think, and realized how much this site has helped me expand my fishing over the past few years. I've fished New Jersey since I was a kid and knew about the spots around where I lived, but once I was on NJF it really opened my eyes to the diversity of what our state has to offer anglers. So, thanks to Gerry Z. for running the place and ALL my fellow NJF members (even you Mikey
) for always keeping it interesting here on the board and at the get togethers.
Off the top of my head, without NJF I probably wouldn't have:
-caught any of the lakers at RVR
-put my boat in the passaic at elmwood park
-binskys
-boated so many fluke last year in first season back on the salt in 15+ years (will have to up that keeper ratio a bit this year)
-spent so many hours and hours and hours looking at pictures of fish when i should be working
