Re: News Flash Norma K sinking
The K II was afloat yesterday afternoon. There was a boom around it to protect from any oil spill. The crew brought pumps and hoses on board and seemed to have it bailed out. We were having a late lunch at the Shrimp Box with a window seat and had a perfect view of the activity. It was floating when we got there in the afternoon, but, having no idea what had happened prior to our arrival, I thought the boat was being prepped as a donation to the artificial reef program. The full moon low tides, west wind and ice have to be contributors to the problem.
