Chrisper: think most of replies ur getting here probably not helping you with your own choice of Lakes here in NJ...Aeroflex and Waywayanda both nice lakes to fish..LL Salmon can be caught in both..Her's tip that took lots of trout for me in Waywayanda over the years...Try driftin live bait perferably herring over the deeper portions of the lake..Long line drift and slow row trolling in spring can be deadly, you'll probably catch more trout there than salmon.But believe me that works..warm water have to drop ur bait down to cooler temps..Thermonmeter and depth finder really helps...BTW caught lots of Landlocks in Schroon Lake NY doing the same thing, with shinners, But here in Jersey stick with herring best Live Bait I've found to use here. Not a bad idea to slow troll streamers, small spoons and spinners along with #7 rapalas..
