I just pulled my boat which I dock in the Manasquan River. I've been fishing this area for 30 years. All the party boats quit bass fishing last week and that's good enough for me. I was out on 12/1 and the little bass were thick under birds and Wed/Thurs they had some too. Just not worth it in my opinion. As far as eels goes I've always caught my late fall stripers trolling or jigging. Some days they just don't bite. Maybe that big swell on Sat had something to do with it. Time for tog for me
